Prof. RUGGIERO teaches Ship Construction at Genoa University - Italy - Naval Architecture and Marine Technology Department, and is also Professor of Marine Engineering at the Naval Accademy in Leghorn.

Consultant of Genova Court Member of Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers of New York.

For many years he has been dedicating himself to the research on Fast Ferries and Passenger Vessels, especially on Propulsion Plants of Advanced Vessel.
